Moving

You are moving within the Netherlands. You are moving from or to a foreign country. Or you move within the country you were already living in.

What must you do?

Are you moving within the Netherlands?

If so, you must report your new address to the municipality where you will be living. Even if you’re moving to the Netherlands from abroad. You don’t have to report anything to us. We will automatically receive your new address from your new municipality.

Is your address information incorrect? If so, please provide the correct information to the municipality where you live. In that case, we will automatically receive the correct address information as well.

Are you moving abroad or within the country you already live in?

If so, please enter your new address in the Non-Residents Records Database (RNI). This is possible at a number of Dutch municipalities with an RNI desk. After you’ve done so, we will automatically receive a notification of this with your correct address.

What will we do?

We will process your new address in our system. It can sometimes take a while for that to be processed in the systems. It may be that you will still receive pension-related mail at your old address.
